The Spirit of God of Moved Upon the Face of the Waters..Gen. 1:2
This is a very important scripture to remember when we have doubts in God..for it is by Gods Spirit that all things come about in Heaven & Earth...Gods Spirit once covered the Whole earth and comes Automatically upon Us when we are born..this is because we are born into the sin of this world ..so thus the Holy Spirit is also descended upon our Souls when we are born...to keep us and protect our innocents until we become of age to decide to have the Gift of Salvation upon on lives...now the Holy Spirit as it is , subjected to the world ,is full of holes from the doubt, trials, the suffering of life and the enemy, when we Receive Salvation from God , He once again Completes the Whole Union of the Holy Spirit...
Our Holy Spirit is once again Whole and we can Feel His/Her Influence upon our Soul & Body...then by learning Gods Love & Word , He Directs us on How to Use the Holy Spirit...we have learned in past postings the Fruits of the Holy Spirit..we are brand new when we receive Salvation (give our hearts to God ) and these come with the application of the Holy Spirit...Love, Peace, Joy, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness & Temperance (self-control)..I Promise You , if by Faith You Realize that the Holy Spirit is Indeed Upon You, You will be these things ...I am these things about 90% of the time..but sometimes when doubt sneaks in I fail to believe in not only God but the Holy Spirit as well...it is up to Us to take the 10% that is doubt and turn it into Faith...God and the Holy Spirit do the Rest...Praise the Lord...
I could tell you so much about the Holy Spirit, but I would not have enough time to put it on paper...but I will tell you a few things that I can feel ...I feel the Fruits of the Holy Spirit upon my life and when I slide , the Holy Spirit speaks to me and tells me I am not being good for example...this is correction from the Holy Spirit...He will let me know when I am not being the Fruit..which I really enjoy when He tells me these things..for I want to be the best I can be..and His correction is very Loving and Gentle for He is the Example of the Fruits of the Spirit...
He also asks me to do things sometimes...I was with a friend one Christmas when she went to get some help for her children...I was just sitting waiting for her to sign up...over against the wall were six volunteers who were helping out...the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said ...go over there Betty Jean and say to them ..God bless you for being so loving and kind , I said to Him (in my mind) what? what do you mean , you just want me to get up and go tell them God blesses them?.yep He said, of course I argued with Him and told Him I cant do that I am too shy to just go over and tell strangers something...He said yes I know but I will give you the Courage to do this ...I sat there thinking ..how can I get out of this ? lol lol...but He was right ...I all of a sudden got brave...I walked up to them, I hugged each one of them and told them God wanted them to know they were blessed for their love and compassion...Praise the Lord He does Provide lol lol.....
You will know that the Holy Spirit is working upon You , when it seems like when you go out , everyone seems to pick you to talk to ...it can be at a bus stop, a hospital, doctors office, grocery store just a few examples, you say to yourself, what do I have a sign on me says Hey Talk to Me....I will listen...this is the Spirit working around You..lol lol...has this happen to you lol?..people are pulled into You because of the Holy Spirit...
The Holy Spirit will also help you discern when something does not seem quite right...You will feel the overwhelming feeling to move away from a situation or from around others...as the enemy is somewhere in the vicinity and doesn't care who gets hurt.... listening to the Feel of the Spirit can change your very way of life...
We have discussed that the invisible things of the world can be difficult to have Faith in but that is what God Purposed..when We Wear the Holy Spirit upon Our Lives we can feel the Holy Spirit doing His/Her Work....We know the earth is surrounded by a magnetic field but We cannot see it ...We know that the moon pulls the tides but We cannot see it ...We know every breath we take is air but We cannot see it ....this takes Faith...and the Holy Spirit will give You all the Fruits He is when this world wears Us down...He renews the fruit each time it leaves us ...keeps us full of Gods Love all the time...it is All there for the asking...
I pray You will go to Your concordance & bible and find other scriptures that refer to the Holy Spirit , just put the words into my bible search and I am sure You will find many Postings You can read and learn more about the Spirit....or use my favorites they have so much wonderful information on them...
